Up until this week the Carolina Panthers have been known this season as the worst undefeated team in the NFL.
Carolina came into yesterday’s game with the Seattle Seahawks 4-0, but nobody took them seriously thanks to their relatively easy schedule: wins against Jacksonville, Houston, New Orleans and Tampa Bay failed to impress anybody. It’s not hard to blame them as those teams have a combined 7-16 record.
However, there’s nowhere left for doubters to hide after the Panthers beat the defending NFC champions in Seattle, which had only happened twice in the Seahawks’ last 30 home games.
