Panthers Plus Peppers Equals Perfection

A slow start to the season for the Carolina Panthers defense didn’t help during a disappointing 2016. Judging by their continued improvement however, the unit should be well equipped to perform from Week 1 next year.

Part of that continued success includes an ability to rush the passer in order to help alleviate some of the flaws of the defensive secondary. Kawann Short has been given the franchise tag and Carolina has already re-signed both Mario Addison and Wes Horton in an effort to keep their defensive front together.

After announcing a desire to return for season number 16, Julius Peppers would be a perfect fit back in Carolina.
