The NFL Players Association has made it a mission in the last year or so to provide more transparency into the competence of teams and what they do to support their players. As part of that, they surveyed players from around the league and asked them to rate their coordinators. The NFLPA only released the top five for each coordinator position, and two Carolina Panthers coordinators made their respective top fives. In fact, both came in second place. Those two did not include Ejiro Evero. They were offensive coordinator Thomas Brown and special teams coordinator turned interim head coach Chris Tabor.
