The Carolina Panthers officially placed WR Kelvin Benjamin on season-ending injured reserve Tuesday, as they trim their roster down to 75 players.

Benjamin, 24, is in the second year of his four-year, $7.66 million rookie contract that includes $6.19 million guaranteed. He stands to make base salaries of $768,375 (2015), $1,116,750 (2016), and $1 million (2017) over the next three years of the agreement.
In 2014, Benjamin appeared in all 16 games for the Panthers and caught 73 passes for 1,008 yards receiving and nine touchdowns.
