Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson dug into his deep checkbook to help out the families of the nine people who were killed by a gunman in Charleston, SC. earlier this week.

In the letter, which named each victim individually, Richardson also donated $10,000 to the historic Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in South Carolina—a place of prayer that was turned into slaughterhouse by a lone gunman intent on inflicting pain to so many innocent civilians.
