Panthers OTAs midpoint: Top storylines to watch

On Wednesday, the Carolina Panthers continued their offseason OTAs completing their fifth of ten scheduled sessions. While not every member of the current 90-man roster has been in attendance, almost everyone has been present at some point.

First round pick Christian McCaffrey remains absent, but second round selection Curtis Samuel is practicing. Samuel missed the first three sessions due to undisclosed personal reasons.

Veterans Julius Peppers and Captain Munnerlyn have returned as well as offensive tackle Matt Kalil, brother of Panthers starting center, Ryan.

There remains plenty to watch for as OTAs continue but following is an update on the the top four storylines worth keeping an eye on as Carolina’s preparation for the upcoming season continues.
