For many North Carolina Schools, the latter half of the spring semester was spent being thrust into virtual learning. To help slow the spread of COVID-19, schools switched to distance learning via apps like Zoom. One of the downsides to this switch was the fact that not every student has access to a computer capable of joining these online courses.
Andre Smith and the rest of the Panthers’ Player Impact Committee have taken strides to rectify that. According to the team site, the Player Impact Committee teamed up with Lenovo to donate 600 Chromebooks to schools in a couple local counties.
