SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis made it through Super Bowl 50 with a metal plate surgically implanted with 11 screws in his broken right forearm.
He finished second on the team in tackles with seven while wearing a protective cast over the arm.
Davis posted this picture of his arm without the protective cast after Sunday’s 24-10 loss to the Denver Broncos. He made it clear in the post, “This is not about me, or how tough I am.’’
