Panthers keep run stopper, assure continuity by re-signing Wes Horton

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers on Monday kept a key member of the run defense by re-signing defensive end Wes Horton to a two-year deal.

Terms: Two-years. Other numbers are not immediately available.

Grade C-plus: This is an interesting one. Horton was released during the 2016 preseason. He was then re-signed before the fifth game and started 10 of the final 11. He replaced Kony Ealy, who was more productive coming off the bench.
