The Carolina Panthers added another name to their general manager search, and you can scratch another potential candidate off their list.
San Francicsco 49ers senior personnel executive Martin Mayhew, the Detroit Lions’ former GM, is interviewing with the Panthers on Friday, according to a source.
Mayhew joins Buffalo Bills assistant college scouting director Lake Dawson and Houston Texans assistant GM Jimmy Raye III as the only external candidates to interview.
Raye met with Panthers officials on Thursday, followed by Dawson and Mayhew on Friday.
