The Panthers just cannot catch a break.
Just when fans were hopeful that the Panthers would be back on track for a return to the Super Bowl after a successful draft and first two weeks of OTAs, disaster reared its ugly head. The Panthers were dealt a painful blow to their season plans on Wednesday when WR Brenton Bersin went under the knife to have a bone spur removed from his ankle, according to a tweet from Jourdan Rodrigue of the Charlotte Observer.
It’s unclear how the Panthers will handle these next few weeks of darkness while they wait for their best minicamp player to heal from surgery.
