CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The new deals given to defensive ends Mario Addison and Wes Horton will take up a combined $5,779,166 in 2017 salary cap space for the Carolina Panthers.
To put that in perspective, that’s well under half of the $13,347,000 the Panthers committed this season to Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kawann Short with the franchise tag.
