The Carolina Panthers draft might have benefitted one player on the roster more than anybody else. The franchise focused heavily on the defensive side of the ball in what became a historic selection of picks that was an NFL first.
This has left the Panthers with plenty of energetic playmakers on defense that could see the team improve in 2020. Trusting so many rookies to get the job done in the brutal environment of the NFL is not necessarily going to bring a team instant success. But what it will do is give each incoming recruit valuable in-game experience that will stand them in good stead down the line.
