SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Jennifer Brunelli was putting together small bags of gummy bears for snacks as the Carolina Panthers wrapped up one of their final lunches of training camp at Wofford College.
Hey, football players need sugar, too.
As the team dietitian, Brunelli is responsible for helping players maintain anywhere from 3,000 to 8,500 calories a day -- depending on their size – during the preseason and season. She likes to keep it fun, too.
This doesn’t change because the Panthers have moved their training back to Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, where they will resume practice on Thursday.
