CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera hasn’t had any “Remember the Titans’’ moments where neighbors came into the street to celebrate with him and his family during this undefeated streak.
But he has had a few interesting moments with fans during an 8-0 start.
One happened on Thursday when Rivera stopped to get gas. A woman recognized him while he was pumping gas and ran over to get a selfie.
“The lady was so excited she almost forgot to take her hose out of her car [before she drove away],’’ Rivera said on Friday.
