CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera promised players before Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins that he would “dab it up for you’’ if they performed the way he knew they were capable.
Linebacker Thomas Davis held Rivera to that after the 44-16 victory that ran Carolina’s record to 10-0.
So in the locker room, after giving Greg Olsen a game ball for breaking the team’s all-time record for career receiving yards by a tight end, Rivera did the Atlanta-based dance that quarterback Cam Newton made a social media phenomenon a week ago at Tennessee.
