The Carolina Panthers squeaked by with a win against the New York Giants thanks to Graham Gano’s historic 63-yard game-winning field goal. Despite coming away with the narrow win, Sunday was the worst offensive performance by the Panthers thus far this season. Miscue’s led to two Cam Newton interceptions that were meant for rookie tight end Ian Thomas. Newton also got a lucky break when he nearly lost a fumble that went out of bounds. Not to mention, the “kill the clock” play calling looked much like it did in previous years.
