The Carolina Panthers will face the San Francisco 49ers and their top tier defense in Week 8. Coming off of their bye week, the Panthers will be returning multiple starters who have been lost to injury just in time for their toughest test yet.
Led by Nick Bosa, Dee Ford, and Richard Sherman, the 49ers defense is a combination of star power and the soon-to-be heralded genius of defensive coordinator Robert Saleh. They have managed their dominance so far by producing pressure with only four rushers. That leaves them a full secondary of truly skilled players to defend the field with.
