Panthers are only 7.5 point underdogs in season finale

Does anyone really think the Panthers have a shot at winning this game? They are a deflated team playing on the road against a team with nothing to play for either but only because the Saints have already clinched home field advantage throughout the conference playoffs. That normally would mean they would sit their starters and play their back ups. But this isn’t a normal game. The Saints seem to take great pleasure in beating the Panthers having now won four straight games against their division foe.

I expect the following this Sunday:

• The Panthers will play less than inspired ball
• The Saints will use starters through the first half regardless of the score
• The Saints will cover the 7.
