According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport, the Carolina Panthers are signing former Rams defensive tackle Bobby Brown III.
Brown is a run stuffer through and through. He appeared in 49 games across four seasons with the Rams and registered a grand total of 0.5 sacks. He’s a beefy boy at 6’4”, 324 pounds and will be expected to clog the middle of the line while the rest of the line tries to get penetration.
The deal is for three years, $21 million with the chance to rise to $27 million if Brown hits certain incentives.
