The Carolina Panthers have added cornerback Trumaine Johnson and kicker Kai Forbath to the practice squad according to the team’s website.
Neither player is a developmental project; both are experienced veterans. They’ll work with the practice squad and will be available to be called up in case of emergency, like Woodrow Hamilton is doing this week.
Trumaine Johnson is 30 years old and was a third round pick back in 2012. He spent the last two seasons with the Jets after spending his first six seasons with the Rams.
