The Carolina Panthers have until today at 4 P.M. ET to trim the roster to their initial, final 53-man team, meaning we’ll see players waived, receive injury designations, or potentially traded. This also means they might make a few moves on other teams’ players.
All the preseason drama about who can fit in the wide receiver room, who can still stand amongst the defensive backs, and who is expected to rush the passer will end today.
It is also worth noting that this is Dan Morgan and Dave Canales’ first cut day as general manager and head coach, respectively.
