Kevon Seymour was drafted in the sixth round (No. 218 overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills. The Panthers acquired him via trade when they sent wide receiver Kaelin Clay and a 2019 seventh round pick (that later became tight end Tommy Sweeney from Boston College) to Buffalo in exchange for Seymour’s services.
