The Panthers begin their mandatory minicamp today, and the good news is that franchise quarterback Cam Newton is expected to throw. Yes, you read that right — Cam Newton will throw during minicamp. This is good news, y’all!
There shouldn’t be any issues with player participation in this week’s minicamp (it’s mandatory for all players to attend, but sometimes players sit out due to contract disputes, etc.). In the unlikely event that anyone decides to sit out, we’ll keep you posted on the reason(s) why and any news associated with it.
