Panthers 2018 draft review: Kendrick Norton

The Carolina Panthers’ final selection of the 2018 NFL Draft was pick No. 242 which they used on Miami (FL) defensive tackle Kendrick Norton. Norton and fellow seventh rounder Andre Smith of North Carolina were high school teammates in Jacksonville, FL. Norton’s time at Miami was relatively productive, so what can we expect in Carolina?

What he brings

Kendrick Norton was consistent for the Hurricanes and made 16.5 tackles for loss over the last two seasons. While he does not offer much as a pass rusher, he is a high-effort space eater with plenty of strength to help against the run.
