By now there has been plenty said about the parts of this game that never should have been a part of this game. The Broncos played dirty and the referees turned the other way, a policy that seemed decidedly one sided. Aside form the disgusting actions by a couple of involved parties who disgraced this game almost beyond the point of relevance in a tangible football focused way, there was a game played and there were a lot of stories that unfolded on the field.

Everything went alright for the first quarter. In fact, it was looking pretty good to be a Panther fan by halftime.
