CHARLOTTE – Rookie offensive tackle Daryl Williams returned to practice Wednesday, his first action since suffering a knee sprain in the season opener.
"The trainers did a good job with me making sure I went out there at the right time," Williams said. "I feel good. I just have to be conditioned more.
"A little bit nervous, but after I got a couple plays in I was straight."
Head coach Ron Rivera was encouraged by what he saw from Williams.
"Daryl did a lot. That was good to see," Rivera said. "He moved around very nicely.
