Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer is willing to bet Norv Turner is at the top of the Panthers’ list of replacement candidates for the Panthers, as he previously hired Ron Rivera while they were with the Chargers.
Some issues that could work against Turner is the fact that he’s 65 and abruptly stepped down as the Vikings’ offensive coordinator during the 2016 season.
Even so, Person writes that he would actually be “surprised if this doesn’t happen.
