NFL Reduces Panthers LB Thomas Davis’ Suspension To One Game

The NFL announced Tuesday that Panthers LB Thomas Davis‘ two-game suspension has been reduced to one game following an appeal.

Appeals officer James Thrash, jointly appointed by NFL & NFLPA, has reduced 2-game suspension of Thomas Davis to 1 game.

Davis knocked Adams out of the game this past weekend after Aaron Rodgers threw an interception and he turned to block Adams, but wound up hitting him helmet-to-helmet.

Davis, 34, is a former first-round pick of the Panthers back in 2005. He was in the final year of his three-year, $18 million contract that includes $11.
