The Panthers did their best Jekyll and Hyde performance against the New Orleans Saints, but unlike the classic cliche we wanted to see them unleash the monster -- and they did. Now Carolina is 3-0, in control of the NFC South and while none of these games have been exciting or convincing, the record shows the start the team was dreaming of.
Here's hoping the team we saw in the first quarter of yesterday's game never returns. It was a lot scarier than most fans gave it credit for. It was an example of not just bad football, but scarier: apathy.
