The Panthers have a few positives to take away from their season opening loss to the Broncos.
The season opener can best be described as a tale of two halves. In the first half, the Panthers maintained control on offense, taking over 9 minutes to score a touchdown in the second quarter. The defense, while shaky at times, managed to force a few turnovers and keep Denver out of the end zone to take a 17-7 lead into halftime.
The second half, however, was a complete and total meltdown for the Panthers. They got complacent on offense and decided to stop tackling on defense, allowing Denver to storm right back into the game and take the lead, and eventually the game.
