The Panthers didn't do much with the safety position in the NFL Draft, but following the 2015 season there's some big changes coming. Roman Harper departed in free agency and Tre Boston will take his spot. The Panthers have a unique safeties situation because they don't really use traditional free safety and strong safety responsibilities. In 2013, the Panthers basically fielded three strong safeties all season after Charles Godfrey was lost for the season, and since then the Panthers have used the same concepts. Both the free safety and strong safety will step into the box and blitz at times, and both spots will show single high safety looks as well.
