Given Carolina’s current situation at cornerback, it was only a matter of time until someone mocked Louisville product Jaire Alexander to the Panthers. Matt Miller of Bleacher Report did just that in his latest projection.
Alexander, who is a Charlotte native, was one of the top performers at the Scouting Combine and he’s been rising up the cornerback rankings. He told WFNZ recently he believes he’s the best corner in the draft.
“Of course... not afraid to say it,” Alexander said. “It's a Charlotte thing. I'm not lacking in confidence.”
