CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Mike Shula calls his dad at least once a week to talk football.
So far, Cam Newton's dabbin' dance routine after Sunday's fourth-quarter touchdown at Tennessee hasn't come up.
"That probably won't come up in our discussions," Shula said with a laugh.
Shula's dad is legendary Miami Dolphins coach Don Shula, whose 347 career wins are the most in NFL history. The elder Shula also is the only coach in league history to lead a team to a perfect season, playoffs included.
The 1972 Dolphins went 17-0, capped by a victory over the Washington Redskins in the Super Bowl.
