The Carolina Panthers offensive line endured a plethora of injuries in 2016 after displaying amazing consistency throughout the 2015 season. Left tackle Michael Oher was among those injured suffering a concussion and missing the majority of the season.
On a Friday, prior to the Week 4 game in Atlanta Oher was placed into the concussion protocol. Initially anticipating Oher missing only a week or two, he would not return and now his status for 2017 remains in question.
According to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Charlotte Observer, general manager Dave Gettleman offered the following comments regarding Oher during his time at the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
