I am not one to get too excited about video games, but even I must admit that this is pretty cool.
In the latest updates to the Madden NFL 19 video game, a midfield logo is featured at Bank of America Stadium. This is quite the change up from what was originally at midfield. The NFL shield has dominated midfield space since the Carolina Panthers first came to fruition in 1996.
Having the NFL shield as the midfield logo was Jerry Richardson’s doing as he wanted to do it out of respect to the league for accepting the Panthers in 1993.
