Several outlets and local sources are reporting that Luke Kuechly has returned to the practice field today after being cleared by the independent neurologist, which represents the last phase of the NFL concussion protocol. Kuechly has been held out of action since the end of the 1st half of the Panthers first game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, after sustaining an awkward and scary hit to the top of his head while attempting a tackle.
