Through four starts in 2019, Kyle Allen’s value to the Carolina Panthers extends far beyond his above-expectation play for a young quarterback. In addition to his commendable play, Allen’s true value is enhanced because the Carolina Panthers gave up nothing to acquire him. Most other teams with capable young quarterbacks aren’t so fortunate.
