CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Hall of Fame outside linebacker Kevin Greene says it's time for Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton to stop complaining about the hits -- late or not -- he’s taking in pocket.
Newton reached his "breaking point" following Sunday's 30-20 victory against Arizona after a hit below the knees from defensive tackle Calais Campbell that the league now -- according to ESPN sources -- admits should have been a penalty.
The NFL MVP said in his postgame interview that he no longer feels safe in the pocket, and vowed to take the issue to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
