Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Kawaan Short has been placed on injured reserve. Head coach Matt Rhule announced today that his shoulder injury would require season ending surgery.

Short played in three of the Panthers five games so far in 2020. He amassed six tackles in those games.
He made it one week further into this season than he did the 2019 season, when he went on injured reserve following rotator cuff surgery.
