The hype for Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman in his matchup against Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones started a couple of weeks ago.
Norman, who held Jones to 10 catches for 107 yards and no touchdowns in two games last season, was on ESPN's "NFL Countdown" show and said "Julio completes me," borrowing a line from the movie "Jerry Maguire."
Norman explained on a conference call with the Atlanta media what he meant by the remark.
"It was one of those things where you want a great battle," Norman said.
