Jordan Gross leaving Panthers broadcasting for more time with family

Jordan Gross stepped away from the Carolina Panthers as a player two years ago.

Now the former Pro Bowl offensive lineman is stepping away from their broadcast team.

Gross informed the Panthers this week he is giving up his roles as sideline reporter for the radio network and host of several team-produced TV shows, including the funny and conversational “This is Gross.”

Gross, 35, said he enjoyed his two seasons roaming the sideline with a headset and mic but is mindful of making time for his wife and their two school-age children.

“I just want to spend time with my family.
