After appearing in only three games, the Carolina Panthers are placing running back Jonathon Brooks back on injured reserve. He tore his ACL in his right knee, the same ligament he tore in November 2023 in college.

Brooks was the subject of much speculation and anticipation after the Panthers traded up in the second round of the 2024 NFL draft to select the dynamic, albeit injured, runner. Fans dreamed of a one-two punch combination between Hubbard and Brooks that they may now never get to see.
