Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson is well known in the Carolinas for his ceaseless charity and endless goodwill to help those in need. That continued this week when it was revealed that Richardson is donating $100,000 to the families who lost loved ones in the shooting tragedy that occurred in Charleston this past week.

Each family will receive $10,000 to help offset funeral costs and help financially in their time of need, while the church will receiver $10,000 itself to erect a memorial in honor of the nine victims.
