Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis took a GoPro with him nearly everywhere he went during the week of Super Bowl 50, hoping to both soak up and preserve the experience.
Watching that video footage likely will be as close as Davis gets to the postseason this year.
The Panthers’ 4-8 slog of a season has been unpleasant for everyone in the organization. But for Davis and the other older players on the roster, it’s a reminder that their window for returning to the Super Bowl is closing.
“You definitely never know when that opportunity’s going to come again, if it’s going to come again,” Davis said Thursday.
