Inactives: Panthers vs. Chiefs

CHARLOTTE - Center Ryan Kalil is inactive for the second consecutive game with a shoulder injury, but his backup is active.

Gino Gradkowski, who like Kalil was listed as questionable, will make his second consecutive start. Gradkowski was limited in practice this week by a knee injury.

Linebacker Shaq Thompson is inactive for a second consecutive game with a knee injury, but rookie defensive tackle Vernon Butler is active after missing the last five games with an ankle injury.
