CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen had hoped to be playing in Super Bowl LII at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, not analyzing it from a studio.
But after the Panthers were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs, the three-time Pro Bowl selection agreed to be a guest analyst for ESPN’s NFL Countdown Show on Super Bowl Sunday in Minneapolis.
It should be a lot less controversial than Olsen’s last trip to Minnesota to be a guest analyst.
That was during Carolina’s bye week in November when Olsen was a guest analyst for Fox’s Vikings-Rams game.
