CHARLOTTE -- The Panthers held on for a 37-29 victory over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at Bank of America Stadium.
The Panthers started the game with 68-yard drive that ended with a 20-yard field goal from Graham Gano, but Green Bay went ahead late in the first quarter when quarterback Aaron Rodgers found tight end Richard Rodgers for a 1-yard touchdown.
Carolina then scored 24 unanswered points. Quarterback Cam Newton rushed for a 1-yard touchdown, tight end Greg Olsen hauled in a 7-yard touchdown, Graham Gano kicked a 49-yard field goal and wide receiver Philly Brown made a 39-yard touchdown catch on third down late in the second quarter.
