Charlotte, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers announced Monday the four players have signed with the team after taking part during the team's rookie minicamp.
Former North Carolina wide receiver Bug Howard was among the players signed. He was joined by guard Quinterrius Eatmon (South Florida), defensive end Karter Schult (Northern Iowa) and center Kyle Friend (Temple).
The Panthers also announced that corner Zack Sanches has been waived with an injury designation.
Howard, a Georgia native, left Chapel Hill with 2,048 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns. As a senior in 2016, he led the Tar Heels with eight touchdowns while pulling in a career-best 827 receiving yards.
