It did not take long for former Carolina backup quarterback Joe Webb to find a new job.
On Monday morning, Webb signed with the Buffalo Bills.
The Carolina Panthers were well aware that Webb would be employed somewhere in the NFL this season, as he has a unique skill set that was valuable to them for the past three seasons and translates well anywhere.
But the Panthers released Webb Saturday, later picking up former University of Miami quarterback Brad Kaaya off waivers to become their new third quarterback. The move was not greeted warmly in Carolina’s locker room, where Webb was noted for a popular figure due to his do-anything demeanor.
